Summer Leadership Conference

July 14-16, 2026 — East Lansing

Designed for Presidents’ Academy graduates, newly elected board members, and PreK-12 local leaders within their first three years of service, this opportunity also encourages participants to invite an additional local officer to attend. The goal is to expand leadership development beyond a single position and strengthen the overall capacity of local leadership teams.

Throughout the year, MEA offers a variety of conferences to allow members to attend high-quality training while networking with peers across the state and sharing ideas about both their profession and their union.
